In some cases, we need to place light families on slabs/roofs and Revit doesn’t have any default “face based” light families(It has only ceiling based light families and can’t be placed on slabs/roofs). What I usually do is, I convert ceiling based family into a face based family and it will help us place it on the slabs/roofs.
